Remote Learning Week 4: Happy St Brigid's Day!

Hello Sixth Class, Many thanks for all your hard work in the month of January. It is great to see each of you sending in your work and trying your best in these difficult times. You may have seen Mrs Prior's video message on Aladdin regarding no remote learning on St Brigid's day (tomorrow). Instead you are encouraged to help at home and try some St Brigid's day art/activities on Seesaw.  Enclosed is this week's remote learning plan (click to enlarge or download). It has also been emailed to your parents and is up on Seesaw. Here's hoping we will get some information regarding a return to school plan in the near future and get back to the classroom asap! Happy St Brigid's Day! Kind Regards,  Ms Brolan

Remote Learning: Week 2

Hello Sixth Class! And so begins week two of remote learning! Well done on all your work so far and for taking part in our zoom last Wednesday. I have emailed a copy of this work to your parents this afternoon. Below is the plan of work for this week (click to enlarge). I will post a daily outline of work on Seesaw each day with a suggested timetable and some videos to help with the work I have assigned. I I understand it can be challenging to get work done at home in a busy house. However, as sixth class pupils, you are capable of completing your work independently using the help on Seesaw. It is important that you keep up-to-date with the corrections I return to you each day and submit work daily if possible. As always, it is important to to read each day. If you need a new book to read, books will be available for collection on  Friday 22nd at the school between 11am and  1pm . I will upload photos of the books available from the classroom on Seesaw and you can choose from that sele

Let's start term two of sixth class - remotely!

Hello Sixth Class! I hope you have all had a lovely, long  Christmas break and that Santa came! As you all know, this month we will be learning together remotely using Seesaw. Luckily, we have used Seesaw in term one together already and you used it last year in fifth class so you are familiar with it. Hopefully someone at home will collect your bag of books from school on Monday between 11am and 2pm. In your bag you will find the books you will need for the coming few weeks, a new copy to use as a 'remote learning' copy and a little treat! I have also included another copy of your Seesaw log in details if they are no longer in your journal and a hard copy of this week's work plan. Below is the plan of work for this week (click to enlarge it). I will be posting a daily outline of work on Seesaw each day with a suggested timetable and some resources to help with the work I have assigned you. Most of you should have your Master your Maths, English in Practice and Am don Léam
